Yup...i am in love again with Goa...No matter how many times do i visit the place,it has this never ending charm which always works for me. The beauty of goa is amazing. The bindaas attitude & the happy go lucky feel is what makes it so special. This trip was all the more fun being a family holiday. Just me, daddy & sister. We stayed at colva beach. The beach lovers that we are we used to hit the beach in morning & were there till late in the evening. Dad used to go back to the hotel in between his beer breaks to take a nap.. But me & sissy were inseperable from the beach. The funny thing is we don't even know how to swim. ;)
So the first day was spent just discovering the beach at colva. Second day we tried our hands at parasailing & water biking which i simply loved. Sissy was being scared to death & i enjoyed it being the wicked sister that I am ;) Surprisingly dad was all game for both the sports and opted for a second ride on the water bike wid me. Sometimes enthusiasm takes over age.
Oh! how can i not mention the endless servings of the prawn rice that we had at the shack. We were a regular at the shack & was even offered a complimentry dish (some fish pakoda with poppy seeds) from the chef since he knew that we were a family of foodie. The reason also being that the chef of Sand Pat shack at colva has magic in his hands. Whatever he cooks turns out to be perfect and deliciously yummy. The breakfast of poached eggs & buttered toast were followed with endless glasses of watermelon juice throughout the day. Also do try their tiger prawns in butter garlic sauce served with salad & fries which was the yummiest.
We felt as the time has simply flown & before we even realized it was our last night in goa on which we decided to have dinner at the resort we were staying at. The Colmar beach resort had a nice view of the sea from their reataurant which is half divided as a shack. They had a local DJ playing & singing that night. I was just having a quiet time & missing my boyfee. But Sometimes not being wid boyfee helps ;) I mean the guy in Goa. He was cute & handsome sitting right in front of me wid his group of friends. He was a nice company, though we didn’t even talked. Well we just kept looking at each other. What you call flirting with eyes ;)
Next day we checked out at morning (I silently hoped to see that guy once b4 I leave but hard luck :( ) We did sight seeing the entire day & reached airport in evening. The best part was that me sissy & dad bonded big time.. So the greedy dog that I am ..me already planning a next family holiday to some other nice location. ;)
