Coming to an end....Is It??

Finally on Saturday morning got to hear some good stuff about the Operation Cyclone coming to an end. Still the anger & helplessness erupts everytime i see the no. of casualties going high, the reports on our bravehearts who lost their lives & when the terrorist pic flashes on my tv. Still disturbed but read somewhere an article on how to keep calm at a time like this. It was advised not to watch news about the terror reports for long on television. Since for the last 3 days i was just watching each & every news channel, i felt helpless all the time, kept on thinking about the psyche of these terrorist & even dreamt of me trying to save my niece, myself & a bunch of dogs from a terror attack. So for a change i switchd off my television & tried to blog but here i am writing again about the laast few days. Well even if i try to divert my mind is it so easy to forget all that has happened & what about the people who were the victims of these attacks in anyway. Now ,every Friday when i will open the newspaper to read about the latest restaurant review I will be reminded of Sabina Sehgal who lost her life & whose reviews were a must read for me. In all ways it was a horrible time for each one of us whether in Delhi or Mumbai or all over India. Surprisingly there is no comment from Raj Thakrey on this issue. Only if anyone can ask him what about the commandos who lost their lives saving Mumbai and its people? Were they all from Maharashtra??No they were not, also the NSG team came from Delhi & most of the commandos are north indians. A sincere appeal is that we should all get one fact very clear in our mind that we are all indians. And before fighting people from outside we need to clear the garbage which lies in the mind of lunatics like Mr Thakre.

Terrible...

Words fail to describe what i am feeling rite now. Its been a hell of a 3 days, glued to the news channels all the time. We have been facing terrorist attacks often. Though each one of them was as painful for its victims but this time its different. On one side, the amount of pain & loss will always be there but what surprises me is the way these bastards have behaved this time. Without any fear gunning down people at hotels, taking them hostage, running away in a police van, such planned way of terrorising common man. On the other side it is the way our politicians are bahaving which surprises me the most. Terrosists are coward psychoz who just kills but what is wrong with our leaders whom we trust and chose to run our country & lives. These incensitive jerks didn't miss even one single opportunity to use it to their advantage. No matter how many sensibilities they are hurting and how many lives has been lost or is at stake, all they care for is votes. Today there was a big ad from BJP in the news paper which says Weak Govt Incapable...Fight Terror..Vote BJP.. also a message from good old Atal ji which goes on as 'Innocents have lost lives & so on & in the end Vote BJP.' What is wrong with these people...Someone shake them hard and tell them to atleast respect the lost lives & stop using them to increase their vote banks. Even more than these terrorists one needs to first get the politicians head on the right place. (Punch them , shake them) do whatever you can people, to teach them a good lesson this time. Ask them what have they done with the heavy tax we pay?? What was our intelligence doing before this attack?? The terrorist seems to know each & every corner of Taj & Oberoi but our intelligence was sleeping. They had no idea of this attack being planned so meticuosly. One needs to tell them that they are nothing but a mere public servants who make money on the tax we pay them from our hard earned money. Why the hell they need to roam with Z security when the public has no security??? We should all publicly boycott elections & tell them that they are all incapable. If they can't save our lives how can we trust them with our country???
Getting back to the terrorists..may they rot in hell and die a painful slow death. There will be these kind of psychopaths claiming to be fighting for Jihad or whatever, even in the coming times. As one cannot totally be free of the evil elements around us but how I wish only if we had leaders who were true in their efforts of serving our country and its people. If they really cared to built a strong infrastructure in terms of security so that the terrorists will give a thousand thought before attacking India in any way. Only if they truly payed homage to the heroes who lost their lives fighting terrorism instead of making long speeches. Only & only & only if they really tried to share our pain..
In the end a big salute to all heroes who lost their lives fighting...the staff of Taj & Oberoi, Mumbai cops..NSG Commandos, Marcos everyone and a big hug & sincere prayer for all those affected in any way. If god has given pain he will give strength to move again!!

Movies & More...

Watched a lot of movies in the last few days.
Dostana is funny and Johnny boy was an eye candy. The guy is too hot!! Junior B was funny too. And the scene when he come running towards Johnny boy is hilarious.
Dasvidaniya is a good time pass. Also while watching this movie i thought of many things that I want to do before I die. Will make a list of that later. Vinay Pathak is the only star in this movie. And as usual he has done a good job. Some where I think he is getting repeatative doing what he did in Bheja Fry.
Heroes was an ok movie.Salman khan looked cool in his turban, better than what Akki looked in Singh Is King. Sohail Khan should forget all about acting.
Not to believe, I am yet to watch Fashion & Quantom Of Solace.
As I am a serial “serial watcher” & new episodes not being telecasted on tv channels, I have been watching HBO ,Star Movies, UTV Movies & news channels all along. Watched Fantastic Four starring Jessica Alba on star movies last night. Which was kindaa weird. I watched it on & off. It was about these 4 people who are the saviours of our planet & lead a life which is not normal. Guaff…
Also came across a piece on star news ( don’t know what to call it for heaven’s sake)where Deepak Chaurasia was interviewing 2 candidates of BJP & Congress in some press conference style and a bride walks in. Chaurasia ji explained that she is getting married in a near by location & asks her opinion on her kind of Dream Delhi. Also introduces her relatives and asks the brides sister what kind of bride is she..Nervous or confident?? Sissy replies “very confident..she performed on Bidi jalai re on her sangeet last night.” On this Chaurasia ji laughs & says “ many many congrats…bidi jalai re ka performance hum phir kabhi dekhenge”
Don’t know what to say on this further..??????
Apart from a lot of news watching I am reading a lot of books. Recently finished Whiteout by Ken Follet. It was just a time pass nothing like his earlier works. Currently reading Diddi by Ira Pandey.. The book is about her mother Gaura Pant Shivani, commonly known as Shivani among her readers. Also my mom,s favourite writer and mine too.
Piled up on my reading list is :
A Prisoner Of Birth by Jeffrey Archer
Three Mistakes Of My Life by Chetan Bhagat
You Are Here by The Compulsive Confessor
The Zahir, Brida & The Fifth Mountain by Paulo Coelho
Will try to finish all these soon so that I can add some more stuff on my book shelf.
In btw …tonight I am planning to watch A Mighty Heart on HBO at 9 pm. :)
